Howdy, I’m Jim Crider - Husband, dad of 4, and host of The Intentional Living Podcast.
I’m also the Founder and CEO of Intentional Living FP - a financial planning firm, & Intentional Money - a money coaching platform to help people who are experiencing new money complexities.
When I’m not chasing around my kids, spending time with my wife, or out on an adventure, I can typically be found engaged in a conversation about aligning peoples’ resources and their life. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and help people make intentional decisions with their wealth, time, talents, and relationships so that they can live the life they desire.
Why I Started Intentional Living
I spent a significant portion of my career helping people who had already accumulated wealth navigate retirement and the later part of life. Behind the money conversations, much of those talks were filled with wishes and missed opportunities - “I wish we would have had these conversations in our 20s and 30s instead of waiting till our 50s and 60s”, “I wish I would have known that when I was younger”, “I wish I had met someone like you when I was trying to navigate my career and business”, “I wish I would have spent more time with my family instead of spending so much time at my job.”
I decided to go upstream and started Intentional Living FP, to engage families earlier on by helping the articulate what is important to them then help them align their money with what is actually important to them - to help them live intentionally.
I love the conversations I get to have on a daily basis with the people I serve.
But there’s only so far my voice can carry through the work I do with clients.
This is why I started The Intentional Living Podcast.
The goal of this podcast is simple: to encourage and empower people to consider what is important to them and align their time, money, talents, and relationships with that - to live an intentional life.
Having healthy money conversations, articulating what is important in your life, using your money efficiently and effectively for that (by reducing taxes, investing smarter, increasing your income and net worth, and achieving financial independence), and doing what is important to you and your family - that is what The Intentional Living Podcast is all about.
I’m so glad you’re on this journey with me,
- Jim Crider
